The mind is the control station of a person’s life. It’s the mind that decides what a person does, either in word or action. So, the kind of thoughts that regularly go through ones mind will eventually form the person’s behavior.
The Bible says “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...” Proverbs 23:7a
• God made man perfect. - Genesis 1:31, But man became different in his thoughts after he fall (i.e. became Sinner)
• Man came wicked in their thought - Genesis 6:5-6,
• The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart; I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. - Jeremiah 17:9-10.
• When man sinned Satan took control of his mind, and his able to influence man’s thoughts. Satan is evil and can only create evil thoughts and offer wicked suggestions.
• Now is only Jesus Christ that can help man over the evil influence of Satan. The Bible says” How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” - Hebrews 9:14 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”- Hebrews 9:22.
• You need Jesus Christ to be able to have a sound and pure mind.
• Studying and meditating on the WORD of God and determining to do HIS will keep us pure in Mind always. – Eph. 5:25-26, John 15:3.

In Paul’ epistle to the Philippians brethren, he counseled on what should constantly form their thoughts. He said: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” - Philippians 4:8.
