Living In His Glory

Living in the Glory that is revealed in our life by Christ Jesus—for as much as we are in Him and walking in His righteousness as He has given it to us, the world will continue to see in us the Glory of the Lord. “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” –John 17:22

EXPLORATION

Glory is of the Lord our God, in whom the Bible says, He is before all things, and by Him, all things consist—that He is the head of the body, the Church. Declaring that it pleased God, our Father that in him should all things dwell that is the fullest of all things. (Colossians 1:17-19)

Christ had us all in His mind from the beginning. He ordained us, in him, not to share His Glory but to be one with him in His Glory. Remember the Bible says, “my Glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” -Isaiah 42:8.

INSPIRATION

There is the glory of man that is of the flesh and not with eternal value, which the world manifests. Such glory may last a while; it may be fabulous in the sight of man. The Bible says, “For all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:” – 1 Peter 1:24

People, and sometimes Christians, allow themselves to be carried away in this kind of glory which could lead to separation from the Lord. And some see it as a quick reward for their labor. And Jesus says, “Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have the glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.” – Matthew 6:2

Paul says, “God forbid that I should glory without Him. Except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” - Galatians 6:14.

Our glory is in HIM and Him in us. We are one in Him. Jesus says in His prayer for us, “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” – John 17:5 “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” – John 17:22. His glory He placed on us, the Body of Christ, that daily we may manifest Him and live in Him, doing things that are extraordinary, and manifesting the miraculous. He said of the work he had done, that we would do even greater things through Him by His Holy Spirit.

It’s time to live in the Glory of the Lord. The world is already seeing the Glory in us. Now is the time to live according to the Glory that’s been revealed in our Life by Christ Jesus. Stop looking down on yourself. Haven’t you see wondered sometimes when people admire you and all you have that you don’t tend to give value to or even thank God concerning it? The very things you are still looking and praying for, the world is already seeing it all in your life by the Glory that is revealed over your Life. They are seeing the Spirit coming to life in you. Amen. The Bible says, “The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.” – Proverbs 3:35. “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” – Colossians 1:27 “…for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you...” – 1 Peter 4:14.

Finally, Know that His Glory over you is Eternal. It is not like the glory of man that fadeth or falleth away like flowers. It is everlasting in Christ. Jesus says, “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” – John 17:23–24

This week:

It doesn’t matter how you got into the mess, but how you get out of the mess by the Blood of Jesus that matters. Begin to live life according to the Glory of the Lord that is revealed over your Life. Don’t say you can’t achieve it. But rather say, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me.” - Philippians 4:13.
If your situation looks tough presently, rejoice in your prayers because the Glory is about to be revealed in you. “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” – Romans 8:18. Amen.

Remember, the Bible says: “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” – (1 John 1:3)

You are blessed, we love you!
