How To Know Jesus

  |

The Bible says: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." - John 3:16

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - John 3:18

Who Is God?

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1

God. Who is He? The Bible says He is the creator of all that exists. He made the world, He made us-He made you.

God loves us. God created us. He loves us-so much so that He sent His Son to restore our relationship with Him. Propitiation is a word that means "to restore into good favor." Sin destroys our relationship with God, but God in His love made a way for us to be restored.

Who is Jesus?

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men" - John 1:1-4

The Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus was the was word of God that came to this to set us free. He was in the beginning. In Him where all things created and He is God manifesting in man to save the world He created. He is the only one perfect without sin to restore us back to God.

Why We Need God

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed." - 1 Peter 2:24

He gave His only begotten Son. Everyone is guilty of some sin. The wages of sin is death. All people die, and sin is the reason for it. But God gave His Son: Jesus died on the cross, to take away the wages of our sin. He was convicted of every crime ever committed, and through His suffering, He was carried out the death sentence for each conviction. We don't have to pay the penalty for our sin-we can go free and enjoy the life God has for us!

The Gift of Life

"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
- Romans 10:9

Whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. The only thing that stand between you and God's gift of life is your believe, your faith and acceptant. God has ready simplify it and make it available to all that believe. All we have to do to be assured of life after death in a perfect relationship with God is to believe in Jesus. If you believe that Jesus is Lord-that He is the Son of God that He died to pay the debt of our sin-and truly believe that He was raised from the dead, then you are saved from the eternal condemnation!
