PRISONERS OF HOPE

''As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant or whose covenant is by blood; I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein there is no water. Turn you to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;'' - Zechariah 9:11-12.

EXPLORATION

Our God is the deliverer-general of His people from ages past. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He had done the same thing many times, in different ways and at different points. There is something I know assuredly of the Lord and this I know so much. I know Him to always fight for His redeemed; those who are washed by the blood of Jesus; who by His grace have disciplined themselves to patiently endure His due process. Read this,

‘‘Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.'' - Exodus 14:30.

You are the next man on the line to encounter the Lord's deliverance. Have you sought deliverance ministrations from preacher to preacher, from place to place, but the problem still remains the same? God has not changed. Hear Him now ''As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant or whose covenant is by blood; I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein there is no water. Turn you to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;'' - Zechariah 9:11-12.  Does your case require the LORD'S intervention? Then hear this, God has been waiting for you, that He may plant you in His house.

INSPIRATION

PIT: A pit in this context is a deep hole for the confinement of prisoners, dungeons. For every purpose of God, there is a divine due process his chosen vessel must go and grow through. Hebrews 11:40 says that God having provided some better thing for us that they without us should not be made perfect. ''Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire'' - Jeremiah 38:7.  This is a major prophet of God in a horrible situation. He was cast into a dungeon because he spoke the truth as expected of God. He was hated and persecuted. He was treated like a prisoner (a person who is kept in prison).

''And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again and they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it'' - Genesis 37:22,24.  

Joseph was hated by those who should celebrate him; for if they have known their deliverance would come through him and if they have known that unto him shall their gathering be: they would not have pitted him. God did not give them the knowledge, because it was for an appointed time; so it was hidden to them. He was hated and halted but God was with him to rescue him, for He ordained the valley process for Joseph to be pre-finished for the end, which was the purpose of his calling from God. The Almighty led some Ishmaelite who dealt in slave trading by this pit, and he was sold to them. You shall not die in that horrible pit. Your soul shall not see corruption in that pit wherein there is no water! I see your rising like the early morning sun and you're shining like the sun at noon; and like the moon at night. You shall breakthrough in the places where many who went before you broke down.

"Now the LORD is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty" - 2 Corinthians 3: 17.

No bewitchment can destroy your liberty because it is not within your enemy's reach. It is hidden in you and greater is He in you than He that is in the world. The Holy Spirit in you would ensure your quickening and lifting in conjunction with your obedience to the Lord's voice. Pilate and those Roman soldiers guarded against the Lord's resurrection but in the moment of the Lord's power, the grave was willing to let go. Grace and faith are unquestionable, unquenchable and unstoppable. Liberty must cry out for manifestation because the Spirit of the LORD is the resident in you.

Remember the Bible says: "No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.'' - Romans 8:37 NLT.
