Not Ashamed To Call Them Brethren

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying: "I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You." - Hebrews 2:10-12

EXPLORATION

How often you have had it on your mind to share the love of Jesus Christ. Sometime it's like a burden on your heart to see someone receive salvation as the Word of God proclaims in the Bible. Or even to share the gospel with someone close to you.

INSPIRATION

"I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You." - Psalm 22:22 (KJV)

The question is, "Can we proudly declare His name in the midst of this world?" We elevate other things in this world rather than Him that created all things. This is the time and season to change our perception of who Jesus is in our world. It has to start from the heart, having understood His love towards us and the world. It requires us to manifest HIS love by reflecting His character and personality in our daily life. Then our friends will see Jesus Christ in us.

Indeed Jesus our Lord, called you "my brethren". He gave an example through HIS suffering. God gave Him the task to bring many sons to glory; to restore man to his position of glory and honor. He was the "author" (captain, pioneer, leader) of man's salvation. He is the One who "sanctifies", and we are being "sanctified." His suffering makes us "all of one".

What are we to show for this; it's not too late, He has not condemned us but rather He opened His hands of fellowship and love to us. And we stand in agreement with you that you will see HIS fingers in every area of your lives this week, this month and in the New year.

DECLARATION

"The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence." -2 Samuel 22:3(KJV)

I trust in You my God, for You are my shield and my salvation.
In You is life, and my life is in You.
I love you my Lord and my God.
And my life will manifest Your presence.
