Success Scripture September 9, 2008

2 Chronicles 17:9-10 (KJV) 

"So they taught in Judah, and had the Book of the Law of the LORD with them; they went throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people. And the fear of the LORD fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat."

Jehoshaphat depends on God in all his life. He trusts in the Lord and God blessed and strengthened him. We ought to lean on God in all we do as a person, as a family, in our career and business. We need to make God the center of our life. He gave his Son to restore us to be able to be closer to HIM. He already knows us like we know our children but he wants us to talk to him, and not do anything without Him.

God Himself demonstrates his love to the whole world without leaving anyone behind. He gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sin of the whole world. - John 3:16. This is God's action to make the door open for everyone to have a closer relationship with Him.

The Bible says:

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." - John 3:18-19 (KJV).

Believing in Jesus Christ is the key, and rejecting Him accepts the condemnation and that is the penalty of Sin.

This week are you going to get closer to God and have an intimate relationship with HIM? Or do you want to remain the way you were yesterday? This is the fact, today is not yesterday, let today be different in your life. Everyone is talking about promising "Change", but God will grant you "Change" today if you get closer to HIM today, this week and forever.

Tell someone you love him/her with the love of Christ Jesus today.
