Week of March 4, 2008 Success Scripture

Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

Our Success Scripture this week is telling us that God has already blessed us with everything, but it's all in the spiritual realm.

Everything you will ever need in your Christian life is already present in the spiritual realm.  The rest of your Christian life is learning how to live out of your re-created spirit, which means learning how to manifest in the physical realm what already exists in the spiritual realm - what is already real in your re-created spirit.

We need to move toward letting what God has done through the new birth dominate us more than the physical and emotional realms.  We need to let what God has done through the new birth dominate us more than what we see or how we feel.

God's Word and your re-created spirit represent the spiritual realm.  What you can see, feel, hear, taste, and smell represent the physical realm.  The spiritual battle is between the physical realm (what the 5 senses are telling you) and the spiritual realm (what God's Word is telling you).

To be able to effectively live out of your re-created spirit, you need to get to the point where you believe what God said about you in His Word more than any other source of information.  You have successfully crossed over into the spirit when God's Word dominates you more than what you can see, feel, hear, taste, and smell.
