Your Fervent Labor Of Faith

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you," - Galatians 4:19

EXPLORATION

Beloved, do you know that God wants you to be an influence on your generation through Christ Jesus? HE wants us to affect people for Him with the gospel, and for us to accomplish this we must be prayerful. Prayer is the vehicle that carries our words to the right destination.

INSPIRATION

The communion we share with the Father in prayer is our privilege in Christ Jesus, it doesn’t come cheap. It is a labor, in which you must give yourself to. Apostle Paul testified of Epaphras, He says: "...always labouring fervently for you in prayers that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God." - Colossians. 4:12

When you pray for people, you pray from the position of authority that Jesus Christ has given you. You pray with passion for the changes you expected in the lives of the people. You carry their burden and solve it through prayers. This is what Apostle Paul did as he puts it in his letter to the saints in Galatia.

He says: "My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you," - Galatians 4:19

You can actually chart a course for your life through prayers. Prayer helps to establish and strengthen our relationship with God. Always note that the more you make an impact on people through prayers, the more you make impact on your life. Are you aware that prayer is the “life-wire” of the Christian? It is having fellowship with God. Through prayer you share your thoughts with the Father and put everything under control in your life.

Promising to pray about something is a sacred obligation. Do not tell someone you will pray about something with good intentions to do so. If someone asks for or needs prayer IMMEDIATELY take it to the Father. Do it with them AT THAT TIME. Jesus tells us about joining together (Matthew 18:18) and being in agreement. He says: "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 18:19 (KJV) Remember, if you tell someone you will pray about something it is a very solemn thing. You will be held accountable for every idle word (a word that is not carried out). God may have put it on your heart to do so for a purpose. Be obedient to the Holy Spirit when called to pray and watch the power of your prayers grow in proportion to your actual performance instead of promise only.

Do you know that a man of prayer cannot be destroyed? He is never a victim in life. When you pray, pray with the knowledge of the WORD of GOD, you cannot receive answers to your prayers if it is outside the word of God, your prayer is the witness and the testimony of the Lordship of Jesus in your life. Therefore, mix your prayer with FAITH and OBEDIENCE—then add REVERENCE, pray with all intensity of the Spirit and you will see how your life and the lives of others will be affected tremendously.

This week: Lift up those families, friends and the sinners you have not yet met—calling on heaven on their behalf. This is your labor in Christ that they may come to the understanding of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for their Salvation, their Health, and their Joy.

Remember the Bible says: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." - Romans 1:16-17

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." -Hebrews 11:6

You are blessed, we love you!
