Fulfilling Your Destiny in God 

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” –Ephesians 2:10.

EXPLORATION

There is a destiny in God and there is a destiny in the world, you may have heard people say, “what will be, will be.” This is ignorance to the word of God, whatever happens to you in life will be as a result of what you determined, you have a lot more to do with your future than you realized. You have a lot to do with where you are at presently in your life journey than you may know. If we do not have a responsibility of fulfilling our destiny or ministry, Apostle Paul would not have charged Archippus to take heed to the ministry which he received of the Lord and ensure that he fulfils it (Colossians 4:17). It means that it is possible not to fulfill one's destiny in life. There is a destiny for every one of us in God, your life has been predestined by God, and it has been pre-arranged according to Ephesians 2:10, it means that God actually has a plan for your life, He said the same thing in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

INSPIRATION

However it is possible for you not to fulfill that plan that God has made for you. It is very possible not to fulfill one's destiny in God, the Bible says so. When certain things happen in a person's life, you hear people say, God has done what is well pleasing to him!, this also is not correct, God made man a rational being, a free moral agent with his own will power and the ability to make decisions for himself. He told the Israelites in the book of Deuteronomy, saying,

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" - Deuteronomy 30:19.

In as much as He lets them know that they have a choice to make, He lets them know exactly which one to choose, and He told them to choose life, and yet many choose death.

This week, choose life and fulfill to fulfill your destiny in Christ. Don’t let the people who have already settled for darkness and have refused the Light of God, don’t let them deceive you to accompany them the way of Hell… but let your decision be right.

As you chose life, you will manifest Life and Light of God. All things will begin to fall in their right place in your life as ordained by God for you. Your Joy will be full. Amen!

Remember, the Bible says, “…he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” –Ephesians 1:4
