"Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted." - 1 Corinthians 10:6 (NKJV)
"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being." - 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 (NKJV)
EXPLORATION
Decision making or the ability "to choose" is one of the greatest powers we have, but the consequence of any decision or choice made can affect everything including nations and future generations. The decision by Achan to disobey God had a great consequences on the nation: "And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done: When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it." - Joshua 7:20-21 (KJV)

As we just celebrated our Independence (Fourth of July in the USA), we realize that Freedom is the best right mankind can enjoy – liberty in all things, from Spiritual to Financial liberty. God was the author of Liberty. HE made the way for the Liberty (Freedom) of mankind from sin. HE came to the world HE created and paid the total price for freedom from sin. And HE declared: "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." - John 8:36
The Spiritual Freedom has been given to all, either we believe by faith or not, it doesn’t change what the LORD has given – while receiving the Spiritual freedom with all the inclusive blessings require FAITH. Physical freedom, Material freedom, Health and Financial Liberty are all inclusive in the redemption work of the Lord.
There is this one thing that is very important after our understanding of what God the author of freedom has done. That is, making the right decision in everyday and in every step in life. We should not take for granted or abuse that which has been given to us.
Here is what the Bible says about the decisions we make: "When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live." - Ezekiel 33:13-16
The decision to turn from doing evil to doing good will surely save one's life, and from walking righteously to doing evil will destroy one's life. What we do this week, this month and this year will surely affect our life and future.
What is your decision concerning your Spiritual life? Is Jesus Christ living in you? What is your decision concerning your career, marriage (choosing a mate), friends (choosing the right friends), where you live (are you where God want you to be or you have allowed pride to choose your home). You need to change your attitude toward these and make the right decision, be influenced by the Holy Spirit and by your free WILL given to you by GOD. And in the years to come you can stand and say this week "I make a Decision that Change my LIFE."
I love the way Apostle Paul put it. He says: "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being." - 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 (NKJV). The decisions we make everyday should pass the test of "Edification (Edify)" and answer these questions: “Will this edify the Lord?” “Will this edify someone?” “Will this edify my Spirit?” And if your answer is “YES” then you are about to make a right decision. If your answer is “NO” then rethink your decision.
This week: Seek God’s wisdom in your decisions for the Bible says: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” - Romans 6:14. We declare Liberty, Spiritual Liberty, Physical Liberty, Financial Liberty, and Material Liberty! Amen! Receive and manifest Health Liberty, Liberty to fulfill! Liberty to enjoy your life to the fullest in the HOLY GHOST! Liberty to serve the LORD your GOD! Liberty to live and not die! Liberty to purse greatness and have great success in the LORD! Amen!
Remember the Bible says: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" - James 1:5 (KJV), Proverbs 12:15, Proverbs 12:15-6, James 4:13-15.
You are blessed, we love you!
