Opening The Prison Gate

"And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands." - Acts 12:7

EXPLORATION

By Definition: A prison is a place in which people are physically confined and deprived of a range of personal freedoms.

We are looking at the Spiritual Prison as it influences the unbeliever and the believer. There are two difference kinds of prisons in Life namely: Spiritual Prisons and Physical Prisons. Spiritual Prisons controls (influences) all other prisons of life  like Material Prisons, Financial Prisons, Marital Possession Prisons and Health Prisons etc. Spiritual Prison is a form of bondage that is beyond your control. It is a form of confinement in the Spirit realm that limits your spiritual freedom. Hence either we like it or not, believe it or not! The spirit realm controls the physical.

INSPIRATION

Majority of people in this world, believers and unbelievers find themselves in these prisons due to their disobedience to God that is, living an ungodly life such as pride, hatred, wickedness, adultery, un-forgiveness, fornication, uncleanness, and lasciviousness. Idolatry, witchcraft, variance, strife, seditions, envying, murders, and drunkenness etc. (Galatians 5:19-21)

The believers minority find themselves only in the physical prison which is sometimes allowed by God; to equip the believer, to promote, and to make us part of His suffering (1 Peter 3:17-19) (Acts 5:41, Acts 9:15-17, James 5:10-11)

The Bible says: "For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:" - 1 Peter 2:20-22

Spiritual Prison holds bond someone’s spiritual life; hence the spiritual things control the physical. Whatever situation that is happening in the physical would have already taken place in the supernatural before manifesting physically.  The Bible says: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” - Ephesians 6:12.

The Bible also says: “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.” - 1 Corinthians 15:44, (1 Corinthians 2:14)

When one is not in Christ Jesus, one is fully open to the devil to be possessed by demons and when possessed by demons the individual is said to be in spiritual prison. This is because the demons influence everything that the individual goes through; being it marriage, career, sexual life, financial life, education and spiritual life.  This is why you see some individuals taking drugs and can’t stop it. Some cannot stay faithful to their marriage and some cannot just do without stealing and so on…

I put it this way “If you are not in Christ Jesus then you are in Crises.” God wants us to live a life free of bondage, so spiritual prison is not an option, It is been separated from God, It is like death.

Beloved this should be the cry of many hearts before the Lord: "Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me." - Psalm 142:6-7

Beloved! This week: Something is about to happen to you if you believe by FAITH that Jesus Christ can set you free. The Bible says: "I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house." - Isaiah 42:6-7

Your prison door is about to open on its own accord as you Trust in the LORD for this Miracle and Deliverance. I proclaim FREEDOM to your Spirit, Freedom to your Finances, Freedom to your Marriages, your Career, your Education, your Businesses. Henceforth today your income shall see no more limits; Abundance of life shall be your portion, your Marriage shall become sweet, and you will enjoy your Ministry. Amen!  

Remember the Bible says: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound” - Isaiah 61:1
