At first, this doesn't make any sense... until you really think about it.
For there to be an abundance of anything, there has to also be a lack of something.
God wants us to live in abundance. We are told, "and my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19). "Supply all your needs" means complete abundance.
He also realizes that for us to do his will, we must have the means to do so and also to be able to bless others. 2Coronithians 9:8 says:
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."
What is the abundance in your life? Does your abundance line up with God's promises for you?
Remember, God created the universe by speaking it into existence and he gave us the same power. Receive his promises for you and your life. Find the scriptures that contain his promises for you and then, for the next thirty days, confess them out loud every day.
Begin preparing for your abundance by being a blessing to others. God is looking for rivers and not reservoirs. Jesus illustrated this in the parable of the talents where the servant that increased the master's wealth was given more.
Begin today, speak your abundance and share your abundance and watch God work in a mighty way in your life.
You're blessed... be a blessing to others.
