The Season of Incubation    

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

EXPLORATION

Incubation is defined as the "Sitting on eggs for the purpose of hatching young; a brooding on, or keeping warm, to develop the life within, by any process." (Wiktionary)

The word incubation (from the Latin incubare, "to lie upon")

The Encyclopædia Britannica describes Incubation as the maintenance of uniform conditions of temperature and humidity to ensure the development of eggs or, under laboratory conditions, of certain experimental organisms, especially bacteria. The phrase incubation period designates the time from the commencement of incubation to hatching. It also is the time between the infection of an animal by a disease organism and the first appearance of symptoms. There are some other views on this depending on how one views it. But we are viewing it as a season in life.

INSPIRATION

Time and time again, God tries to incubate us for a greater result before releasing us into the world. God wants us to learn from all things and in all seasons of our lifetime. It is not for us to just enjoy or complain throughout the season, but to find out the purpose of that season and to learn the lessons that come with the season and make use of them as we move on to a breakthrough.

All seasons of incubation are based on the purpose of God for each individual, and one thing is certain, no matter how similar we all might appear to be, we cannot have the same incubation season. The more time spent on incubation in your seasons, the more the grace you will have to overcome the greater the challenges you face. If anyone neglects or spend less time in the seasons of incubation, they will not be prepared for the trials of life or prepared to receive the abundance.

The season of incubation is always followed by the seasons of harvest, breakthrough, and abundance. It's like a life cycle "INCUBATION - TRIALS - BREAKTHROUGH - HARVEST - ABUNDANCE."

The season of incubation is a time to hear from God; a time to bare some pain, or endure things that our flesh doesn't normally like. We then proceed to the TRIALS to be tested for a breakthrough. The TRIALS we encounter are like a sailor that launches his boat onto the deep of the ocean. The Bible says: "Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." - Luke 5:4 also "These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season. That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good."- Psalm 104:27-28 (KJV)

This week: We want to let you know that, your situation has not come to put you down but to lift you up, to mold and reshape you; if you surrender your flesh to give way for the blessings that are awaiting you instead of surrendering to your flesh and experiencing more trials. No matter how your ways have been in the past, God was always trying to speak to you through them. HE wants you to learn something that will be useful for you in your seasons of Breakthrough and Harvesting which is just around the corner, and to some their Breakthrough is here already.

Beloved, hold on firm onto God the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2b). We are joined with you in prayers that you will come out beautifully, Knowing God like never before. God loves you and He is investing in you. This is the time for you to be trustworthy.

Remember: It's like a life cycle INCUBATION - TRIALS - BREAKTHROUGH, HARVESTING - ABUNDANCE.
