Walking In The Will Of God

“And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” - Matthew 26:39

EXPLORATION

There is God’s will for everyone that lives on the surface of the earth, and there is man’s will for everyone that chose to work things out by him or herself. God created man in the beginning and granted man a free will—free to choose what’s right, good, and best for every situation. Likewise laying down instruction of what HE expects as God from us.

God sees that man (human being) has always want to walk in his/her will and rejecting God’ will, then HE says: “MY spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” - Genesis 6:3

INSPIRATION

The Will of God for us is simply the plan of God for us. We need to come to the understanding that God will not be responsible for the people who refuse to allow HIS will in their life or pay attention to God purpose and will for their life. The flesh will not allow you to choose God’s will until you put your flesh under control. Apostle Paul, after understanding the influence of sin through our flesh he says: “For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.” - Romans 7:15-17

In another time, when Paul was about to go to Jerusalem, during one of their meetings a prophet named; Agabus gave a word concerning Paul’s next trip—here is what he says: “And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.” - Acts 21:10-14

Apostle Paul understands the will of God, and lives his life by the will of God. He said “The will of the Lord be done.” The people may not know the will of God concerning Paul, but Paul knows what Jesus declared to him when he was first encountered on the way to Damascus. He has decided to live by the Will of God for his life.

What about you today, would you trade your will for the will of God for your life—that you may life the fullness of HIS WILL for your life? The Bible says: “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS WILL, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” -1 John 5:14-15

Beloved! It is the Will of God that you, me every one of us should perish but to come to the full understanding of the Gospel and repents from our sins (Matthew 18:11-15). Apostle Peter says: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9

It is the Will of God that we walk in faith and receive by faith all, which HE has in stock for us. (Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17) It's the Will of God that you be thankful in all things. It's the Will of God that you be empowered to live a Blessed life in Christ. A life fills with the Glory of the Lord your God—that you be a light and shines the Light of God to many.

To walk in the Will of God is also to be lead by the Spirit of God. It's to say NO to the FLESH!

When we do the Will of God then we simply confirming our relationship with HIM has our God. The Bible says: “For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.” -Mark 3:35

This week: Truly let go Self and let God. Tell the LORD in prayer, say LORD! “I pray that you daily OVERRIDE My Will and let THY WILL be done in my Life.” Amen.

Spirit of the living God; I willing, Obediently, Joyfully, and Prayerfully submit and lay down my will and Receive, and Embrace THY WILL for my Life.  Beloved! Go ahead this week now and always walking in the will of God. Manifest the will of God in all that you do. And be established in the will of God.

Remember the Bible says: “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” -Ephesians 1:11

You are blessed, we love you!
